The Journey: From A&E (2012-14) to Netflix (2015 onward)
Why It Was So Good the First Time: The unexpected, dusty Wyoming setting and some gol' darn sharp writing were a big draw for an older audience – one that A&E wasn't all that interested in attracting for some reason. Picky, picky.
How It Fared the Second Time: The show has been renewed for a fifth season, so pretty darn well.
Verdict: A&E sorta screwed the pooch on this, as the show had consistently strong ratings. But hey, their loss is Netflix's gain.
