Is there another 'Daredevil' waiting on the big screen?
Jonah Hex is a character who becomes more interesting the longer you get to watch him behave and react, and in a single film, everything's ramped up and accelerated. Western drama can play small and subtle, and there's almost an anthology quality to the types of stories you could tell with Hex, covering both historical and supernatural territory along the way. Another advantage to doing this for television? You give the audience time to get used to just how startlingly ugly a character Hex is. Over time, they're going to grow used to him and start to see past the insane scars. Tim Olyphant's free now that "Justified" is wrapping up, so what is DC/Warner waiting for?
