How to time travel: Track down Dr. Emmett L. Brown in Hill Valley, Calif. Borrow his DeLorean, the one that’s outfitted with a flux capacitor, which makestime travel possible. Get your hands on some plutonium, enough to get you back to your home year too. And be sure there’s enough gas in the car to get it up to 88 m.p.h.
Warning: Don’t let leave the DeLorean unattended and let it get into the wrong hands! If, say, your dad’s high school bully who always wanted to marry your mom steals the Delorean, he may just use the powers of time travel to make himself a millionaire, marry your mom, make your cute hometown a grungy haven for biker gangs, and send you to boarding school in Switzerland.
Word of advice: “You’re not thinking fourth-dimensionally, Marty” — Doc Brown
