Is the 'Black Hole' remake dead?
When Disney was seemingly enamoured Joseph Kosinski before the opening of "Tron: Legacy," it was revealed he was on board to helm a reboot/remake/return to the cult adventure "The Black Hole." Kosinski even spoke about the project - which had a screenplay in the works - as late as Dec. 2010. The studio cooled on Kosinski after they were disappointed with "Legacy's" debut and released his other studio project, "Oblivion," so he could sell it to other suitors. Disney head Rich Ross never brought up or hinted at "The Black Hole" during his D23 presentation.
