Why should Justin Timberlake be the only one?
Song: "Man In the Mirror"
Why it works: Kendrick Lamar has already shown that he can handle emotional tunes, like “Swimming Pools (Drank)” and that he has no problem being reflective (pun intended). Jackson still takes the lead on this song, from 1987’s “Bad,” but there’s a great place around 2:30 where Lamar could lay down a great rap.. or sing or do anything he wants to, just as long as he doesn’t mess around with the glorious key change around 2:50 that is absolute perfection. Plus, they could riff together over the long outro.
