'The Hunger Games' is the new 'Twilight'
This year's fan-voted awards seemed set for a franchise showdown between the old guard ("The Twilight Saga" has won Best Movie for three consecutive years) and the new ("Hunger Games"). But nomination day surprises changed all that. "Hunger Games" led the field with nine noms, while "Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1" was limited to only two.
Now the less-than-epic battle boils down to just a pair of categories -- Best Kiss (where formidable rivals include Channing Tatum and Rachel McAdams in "The Vow," Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling in "Crazy, Stupid, Love." and Emma Watson and Rupert Grint in "Harry Potter") and Best Movie. We won't declare a favorite, but may the odds be ever in the worthier contender's favor...
