We get it's a 'Die Hard' movie but can we have some logic at work here?
That rainwater in the pool McClane and his son jumped into is safe?
Finally! Some exposition that explains something and something badly. When John and Jack McClane end up jumping into a pool on the toxic grounds of Chernobyl to avoid being caught in a firebomb explosion we quickly learn it's just rainwater and not radioactive. Huh. O.K. So, the pool itself or the ground around the air isn't radioactive? An area the water has just been sitting in for who knows how long? We aren't scientists or anything, but fingers crossed John and Jack got to a CIA decontamination unit as soon as possible after this whole mess.
