Lenny Kravitz had never heard of the books before being offered the role of Cinna
Though he was offered the role of Cinna, Katniss' Hunger Games stylist, by director Gary Ross without even having to read, the rock star had no idea the books even existed before getting the call.
"I learned about [the books] when Gary called me to offer me the film," said Kravitz. "I'm being offered this film and having no idea what I'm being offered, so I got it after our talk and then really got taken by the book, couldn’t put it down, read it very quickly and then called him back and accepted the role. So I was late."
