In Shonda ABC trusts
At ABC's upfront presentation, after introducing a Thursday lineup made up entirely of shows produced by Shonda Rhimes — "Grey's Anatomy" at 8, "Scandal" at 9, and the new "How to Get Away with Murder" at 10 — ABC boss Paul Lee joked that he had made her president of entertainment for that night. Given how much the two veteran shows have been carrying ABC the last couple of years, maybe Lee should give Rhimes his entire job. Sliding "Grey's" to 8 should solve ABC's decades-long struggle in that timeslot, and Lee dismissed any concerns about putting the racy medical drama in what was once the family hour (not to mention putting the torture-laden "Scandal" at 9).
