9. 'NCIS' remains TV's most popular show nobody you know watches
Newsflash: "NCIS" just entered its ninth season, and the military procedural continues to average nearly 20 million viewers every week. That's right: it's ninth season, and I've still never met a single person who watches it. It's even been beating time-slot competitor "Glee" in the 18-49 demo lately, which would have been virtually unthinkable just a few months ago. Meanwhile, the show's "Los Angeles" spin-off continues to occupy the Nielsen top ten. All of which just raises the question: Why, America? I mean really, why?
