7. CBS continues to reign supreme
With the majority of its new and returning shows hitting ratings gold again this fall, CBS has a lot to crow about in the early going this season. Even the lesser performers among the network's freshman class (specifically "A Gifted Man" and "How to Be a Gentleman") can't rightly be called duds, and "2 Broke Girls", "Unforgettable" and "Person of Interest" seem all but assured for a second season pickup at this point. Meanwhile, the Eye Network has by far the most formidable returning lineup of the Big Four, with mega-hits like "NCIS", "The Good Wife", "Two and a Half Men" and "Mike & Molly" keeping them at the top of the Nielsen heap once again.
