4. 'Modern Family' still hasn't peaked, but 'Glee' probably has
Continuing its Emmy streak this year with five wins including Outstanding Comedy Series, "Modern Family" debuted this season to its biggest numbers yet, particularly with the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demo, where it scored a monster 6.0 rating. Though the show started its first hit season in the shadow of Fox's "Glee" (in buzz if not ratings), now it appears the tables have turned, with the latter series continuing its Nielsen slide in Season 3. Perhaps most tellingly, time-slot competitor/AARP member favorite "NCIS" is even beating the Ryan Murphy series in its target 18-49 demo now.
