Will Smith appears to promote and tease 'After Earth'
Back when it looked like "Men in Black III" might be a disaster, it would've been understandable for Will Smith to steer clear of Comic-Con. But "Men in Black III" wasn't a disaster, so he could confidently bring his movie star swagger to Hall H to hype next summer's sci-fi action epic "After Earth" -- also starring his son Jaden and directed by M. Night Shyamalan. And yet instead of an official spot in Sony's Friday panel line-up (which includes "Total Recall," "Looper" and "Elysium"), "After Earth" gets a low-key panel in Room 6A with the screenwriter, cinematographer and team behind a corresponding comic book series. Unless there's a Shyamalan-style twist in store?
