Bill Murray and Angela Lansbury join Johnny Depp in new Wes Anderson movie
When it was announced that Johnny Depp was toplining the next film from adorable indie auteur Wes Anderson, some fans naturally wondered if the director planned on re-teaming with regular star Bill Murray, who's appeared in all if Anderson's films since "Rushmore" in 1998.
Well, worry no more -- Murray has signed on to join Anderson's "The Grand Budapest Hotel," according to The Vulture.
"Murder She Wrote" maven Angela Lansbury is also joining the film. Plot details are being kept a secret, but Anderson has referred to the film as "a European story," whatever that may entail.
Jude Law is also attached, with Anderson vets Edward Norton and Owen Wilson rumored to be circling the project.
"Moonrise Kingdom," Anderson's latest film, stars Murray, Norton, Frances McDormand and Bruce Willis.
Murray will soon be seen a F.D.R. in "Hyde Park on Hudson."
