Charlize Theron will be a 'Young Adult' for Diablo Cody and Jason Reitman
Charlize Theron is in talks to star in the dark comedy "Young Adult" as a divorced young-adult fiction writer who returns to her hometown to track down (stalk?) the ex-boyfriend who got away. That he's married with a kid a minor complication. While zeroing in on the unlucky ex, she reacquaints herself with old high school pals and learns of their experiences trying realize high school hopes and dreams
Theron would be the new ingredient to the Reitman-Cody recipe that last cooked up the Ellen Page hit "Juno" to great success including academy nominations for them both and an Oscar for Cody. "Young Adult" has been set up at Mandate since March. The Hollywood Reporter brings us the news of Reitman and Theron's involvement. As of this moment, no deals have been signed.
