'Wonder Woman' finds a writer
No man tells Wonder Woman what to do, except for maybe screenwriter Jason Fuchs.
The anticipated Warner Bros. superhero film stars Gal Gadot in the title role, and already has a director in Michelle McLaren.
Now, "Pan" writer Jason Fuchs is in negotiations to tell the Amazon warrior's tale, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Gadot will first be seen wielding the lasso in 2016's "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice," and Fuchs and McLaren will have to tailor "Wonder Woman" to align with that film, as well as the two-part "Justice League" (2017 and 2018) and several other films based on the DC Comics universe.
"Pan," Joe Wright's Peter Pan reboot flies to theaters on July 17, and is hoping to spawn a franchise. Fuchs is already signed to write the sequel.
Before "Pan," Fuchs penned the animated sequel "Ice Age: Continental Drift."
