FOX grabs Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony's 'Q'Viva!' for Saturday airings

FOX has grabbed English-language rights to Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony's Latin talent show "Q'Viva: The Chosen."

"Q'Viva" premiered on Univision earlier this spring and will have its FOX premiere on Saturday, March 3. While Univision has aired the show in hour-long blocks, FOX will air two hours of "Q'Viva" each Saturday through April 7.

Described as a "docu-journey series," the series follows Lopez, Anthony and concert director Jamie King as they travel through 20 countries looking for  outstanding Latin singers, dancers, musicians and other amazing performers.

"'Q’Viva' is a passion project on so many levels," states Lopez. "It’s really our dream to see it come together. This is about creating a live visual experience about Latin culture, rhythm and dance. I believe that people will be so enlightened, so enriched by this experience."

Adds Anthony, "I am thrilled about our new association with FOX and to have their support in introducing Q'Viva to a global audience."

"Q'Viva" comes from Simon Fuller’s XIX Entertainment and Jennifer Lopez 's NuYoRican shingle.
