Michael Cera's 'Youth in Revolt' gets a new date
The press and public at the Toronto International Film Festival may have enjoyed the debut of Michael Cera's new comedy "Youth in Revolt," but moviegoers across the country are going to have to wait just a wee bit longer.
"Revolt" was originally set to bow Oct. 30, but the financially strapped Weinstein Company has had to push the film to Jan. 15. The studio insists it's because they view the new date as a better fit for the comedy, but most insiders know it has more to do with cash flow to cover marketing expenses than anything else.
