USA renews 'Psych' for a shortened 8th season
The good news for fans of USA's "Psych" is that the beloved quirky dramedy has been renewed for an eighth season before the seventh season even launches.
The less-good news? The pick-up is only for eight episodes and there's at least a general sense that this could be the end of the run for one of USA's most successful shows.
Season 7 of "Psych" will premiere on February 27 and it's a 16-episode season that will include a two-hour musical episode and will also bring the series to its 100th episode.
