'Lost' finale commercial time could approach $1 million
As "Lost" fans search the depths of the internet to uncover the secrets and complexities of the ABC drama, advertisers may be searching deep into their pockets in order to pay for ad time during the season finale of the show.
Media buyers are reporting that the network is putting a $850,000-950,000 price tag on 30-second commercials, says Ad Age. That would be a 400% markup from the average exchange, but still around $500,000 less than the asking price for, say, an ad during the Oscars.
The "Lost" season and series finale will be aired May 23 and will be three hours long.
