Aaron Sorkin gives 'Newsroom' a writing staff overhaul
Aaron Sorkin will be switching up some of the writers who don't get credit for scripts in the upcoming second season of HBO's "The Newsroom."
While TheDaily.com is reporting that "most of the writers on the cable drama" have been fired, EW.com says that the turnover is slightly less. Given that most of the "Newsroom" scripts have been and presumably will be credit to Sorkin, it's unclear what difference the turnover would even make.
HBO tells EW.com that "This process is nothing out of the ordinary."
Even if viewers were to notice any differences from the new writers' room, they wouldn't pop up until the already-ordered second season.
