Ke$ha announces new single title, imminent release
It's been a while since we've heard from pop "animal" Ke$ha, even with her Flaming Lips collaboration on their "Heady Fwends." But the singer is obviously ready to step out solo again as she walked the red carpet and presented at the 2012 MTV VMAs this week.
During her jaunt, she announced that she finally has new material on the way and, as a matter of fact, a new single will be out this month and is called "Die Young."
The 25-year-old singer and writer last released "Cannibal" in 2010, which yielded mega-hit "Blow." She has been working with Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne and Stooges vet Iggy Pop for her as-yet-untitled next effort.
