Frances Conroy joins the second season of 'American Horror Story'
Ryan Murphy is welcoming another of his "American Horror Story" Season 1 stars back into the fold for the upcoming "American Horror Story: Asylum."
The co-creator tweeted on Wednesday, "Thrilled to announce Emmy nominee Frances Conroy is returning to AHS. Devils and angels this year...Frannie plays the ultimate angel."
Conroy picked up an Emmy nomination for her work on the first "AHS" "miniseries" and will join Jessica Lange, Zachary Quinto, Evan Peters and Lily Rabe in returning for "Asylum."
Set at the Briarcliff Manor home for the criminally insane, the "Asylum" season of "AHS" premieres on FX in October.
