'Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome' will get a Syfy airing

If you've been holding off on checking out the piecemeal online airing of "Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome" and waiting to watch the full telefilm, you're in luck.

The two-hour TV movie will premiere on Syfy on Sunday, February 10. According to the network, "Blood & Chrome" has drawn "upwards of 8 million total views" on YouTube's Machinima Prime premium channel.

Preceding the events of "Battlestar Galactica" (but after the events of "Caprica"), "Blood & Chrome" takes place in the midst of the first Cylon Wars and focuses on young William Adama (Luke Pasqualino).

Jonas Pate directed what was originally intended as a two-hour pilot, written by Michael Taylor with David Eick executive producing.

"Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome" will premiere on DVD on February 19.
