Will Aquaman only get a cameo in 'Justice League'?
Who's in? Who's out? Who will make a cameo?
These are the questions that every comic book fan has been asking about Warner Bros.' upcoming superhero epic "Justice League," scheduled for release summer of 2015. Now some answers may be at hand.
News is starting to come out that the film's super team will include Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern and The Flash, according to Latino Review.
It's common sense that the film will feature Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman as the core heroes, and it's hardly Earth-shattering to expect Flash and Green Lantern to be featured players. However, some of the DC Universe's other heroes are being granted second-tier status for the film.
If the report is accurate, it's somewhat surprising that Aquaman, who has become an integral part of the "new 52" DC universe may only get a cameo or no role at all in the first "Justice League" movie. Ditto for the lesser-known Martin Manhunter.
Hawkman, the report continues, is even less likely to appear, even in a bit part. Of course, this is all unconfirmed as of yet, and there are always the planned sequels and spin-offs which could potentially include more prominent roles for these heroes, as well as fan favorites such as Cyborg, Zatanna, Power Girl, Metamorpho, Plastic Man, Captan Marvel and many others.
