Chris Pine hired to star in 'Horrible Bosses 2'
Jennifer Aniston, Colin Farrell and Kevin Spacey were "Horrible Bosses" the first time around, and now it's time for some more evil employers to terrorize Jason Bateman, Charlie Day and Jason Sudeikis.
"Star Trek" and "Jack Ryan" star Chris Pine is taking a break from action to hone his comedy chops in the upcoming sequel to the 2011 hit about a trio of hard-working, undervalued shlubs who try to eliminate their respective "Horrible Bosses."
According to The Huffington Post, Pine is confirmed to be playing the younger half of a father-son duo who steal an idea from Bateman, Day and Sudeikis' characters. "Django Unchained" Oscar winner Christoph Waltz was in talks to play the father, but ultimately turned down the role.
All three of the heroes will return for the sequel, along with original co-stars Aniston and Jamie Foxx.
"Horrible Bosses 2" is scheduled to be released November 26, 2014.
