What will the 'Man of Steel' sequel actually be called?
Maybe "Batman vs. Superman" just wasn't dark enough.
Zack Snyder and Christopher Nolan's "Man of Steel" sequel has been unofficially referred to as "Batman vs. Superman" (or "Superman vs. Batman," take your pick) for months now, but is Warner Bros. any closer to finding an actual title?
According to Fusible, the studio has recently registered multiple domain names which could reflect the 2015 sequel's potential monikers, although nothing is even close to being official.
Among the site names registered are: "Man of Steel: Battle the Knight," "Man of Steel: Beyond Darkness," "Man of Steel: Black of Knight," "Man of Steel: Darkness Falls," "Man of Steel: Knight Falls," "Man of Steel: Shadow of the Night," "Man of Steel: The Blackest Hour," and "Man of Steel: The Darkness Within."
Interestingly enough, none of the proposed titles contains the either of the heroes' names, but they all clearly indicate that the sequel will be dark and serious.
"Man of Steel Into Darkness" and "Man of Steel: The Dark World" must have been taken.
Batman and Superman will meet June 14, 2015.
What do you think would make a good title?
