Bio Channel gives Bristol Palin her own unscripted series
Bio Channel -- we're not sure if it's on our cable roster either -- announced earlier this week that Bristol Palin is getting her own docu-series on the network.
The daughter of former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, Bristol Palin achieved her own fame during her unexpectedly long run on "Dancing with the Stars." Plus, as Bio Channel proudly boasts, "She's the most famous single mother in America."
Bio has ordered 10 half-hour episodes of the series, which will focus on Palin's move from Alaska to Los Angeles with her son, Tripp. In Los Angeles, Bristol Palin will be working at a charity and living with fellow "DWTS" contestant Kyle Massey and brother Christopher.
"Bristol is the kind of personality BIO is drawn to," states Bio Programming EVP David McKillop. "Her personal life has been playing out in the media for several years but this will be the first time she’s opening up her real life, with her son and her friends the Massey Brothers."
The untitled Bristol Palin series will premiere later this year.
