Eddie Cibrian is joining the cast of "CSI: Miami" as a regular next season, which means that viewers with that inclination can begin the countdown until he first removes his shirt. "CSI: Miami" will return for its eighth season on Monday, Sept. 21.
On the CBS drama, Cibrian will play a police officer who relocates from Hollywood to join Horatio Caine's gang of Miami CSIs.
Cibrian was a regular on "Third Watch" and "Invasion." He's been a regular guest star on a number of shows in recent seasons, including "Ugly Betty," "Samantha Who?," "The Starter Wife," "Dirty Sexy Money" and "Criminal Minds." He also raised pulses in the telefilm "Northern Lights."
