Eric McCormack in 'The New Adventures of Old Christine'
Eric McCormack is rarely unemployed for long.
Bouncing back from the relatively swift cancellation of his TNT drama "Trust Me," McCormack has inked a deal to guest star on multiple episodes of CBS' "The New Adventures of Old Christine."
McCormack will play a therapist who shares office space with Christine's brother (Hamish Linklater) and takes a shine to Christine.
The deal reunites McCormack with "Christine" creator and executive producer Keri Lizer, a writer and co-executive producer on NBC's "Will & Grace." McCormack earned four Emmy nominations and a win for his long run on "Will & Grace." In addition to "Trust Me," his other TV credits include "The Andromeda Strain," "Dead Like Me" and "Ally McBeal."
