It looks like franchise factory Ice Cube is officially ready to break out the lawn chairs and the weed again for a fourth (and, possibly, final) Friday film.

The rapper-actor-producer told TMZ that he's assembling the original film's cast for a fourth film -- including the comedian-hermit Chris Tucker who hasn't been in a non-"Rush Hour" film since 1997's "Jackie Brown."

The original also starred Nia Long, Tommy "Tiny" Lister Jr., John Witherspoon and Bernie Mac, who died in 2008.

Cube and Tucker co-starred in "Friday" (1995) , but Tucker sat out "Next Friday" (1999), and the third installment, "Friday After Next" in 2002. It's not clear if Mike Epps, who played Cube's cousin in the second and third films, will be included in the fourth film.

A representative for Ice Cube's Cube Vision Productions told TMZ, “Absolutely yes the studio is in the process of getting the entire original cast to do another 'Friday.'" The statement added that Cube "is very excited about this and has every intention to make it happen.”

The Tucker connection is less concrete -- TMZ says that Lister claims that he and Tucker are ready for the film, but no contracts have yet been signed. So, keep your fingers crossed.
