Steve Carell and Tina Fey reuniting for 'Mail-Order Groom'
Already preparing to make romantic comedy history with this Spring's "Date Night," Steve Carell and Tina Fey appear to be lining up another movie project together. The NBC Thursday night Emmy-winning stars of "The Office" and "30 Rock" are attached to appear in "Mail-Order Groom" for Warner Bros.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the comedy centers on a naive single woman with no luck in the romance dept. (Fey) who ends up with an Eastern European husband (Carell) she brings back to the States.
Based on an idea by Fey's husband, Jeff Richmond, the script is currently being re-written. The project doesn't have a director, but both Carell and Fey's production companies are developing the project. When it would occur is unclear as both actors are only free for a few short months during their respective TV breaks.
"Date Night" hits theaters April 9.

I never understood why people would do that. The storyline of a drunk father, mothering daughter and car thief that falls for her is the exact story from the British series.
