Jamie Foxx and Martin Lawrence are going old school. The duo are returning to characters they made famous during their stand up days for the new movie "Sheneneh and Wanda."
According to Variety, the movie will find the ghetto-crazy Sheneneh (Lawrence) and Wanda (Foxx) as two modern-day independent women trying to make it on their own, one bank robbery at a time. The idea to revisit their classic characters came after the duo made a parody movie trailer for this year's BET Awards titled "Skank Robbers." To check it out, click here.
Screen Gems is reportedly fast tracking the production so it should start filming sometime next year.
In the meantime, Fox will be seen next in the ensemble romantic comedy "Valentine's Day" and Lawrence will appear in Screen Gems' "Death at a Funeral."
