Will 'Two and a Half Men' kill off Charlie Sheen's character?

Is Charlie Harper about to take a tragic turn on "Two and a Half Men"?

That's what may be the case, according to TMZ.com

The website reported this week that Chuck Lorre intends to permanently write Charlie Sheen out of his hit comedy by having the Charlie Harper character drive his car off a cliff.

There's only one catch: Nobody will go on the regular about Charlie's fate and even TMZ admits that the script for the show's upcoming premiere hasn't been completed and that the episode itself won't be shot until August.

TMZ then speculates that Ashton Kutcher will be introduced on the show as a potential buyer for Charlie's house. Again, though, this is unattributed gossip from a script that hasn't been finished.

So take it all with a grain of salt and know that if this were actual news, we'd have written it up during the week. It's not. But it's fun to speculate and make up stories.
