Diplo and Snoop Dogg making a reggae record
Snoop Dogg has collaborated with a diverse many artists -- including other weed lovers like Willie Nelson and, more recently, Wiz Khalifa.
Now he's hooked up with Diplo for a full-length album, with an already-staggering 18 tracks, according to his Facebook page. An appropriately smoke-filled photo accompanied.
“What we’re doing is a reggae record. It’s like Snoop Dogg and Major Lazer together. It’s all reggae and he’s singing and he’s doing a f*cking awesome job and I never knew it, but he had his heart in every song," Diplo told MTV.
The producer and Major Lazer co-founder also had an update on that No Doubt album, mentioning that things had wrapped up in Jamaica and that he may be featured on a big new single.
"They've been [Tweeting] about the song, so they're excited about it. I think it's going to be a 'No Doubt featuring Major Lazer' record, because we were producers, and there's another artist on it, too." No word when that all arrives.
