Ellen DeGeneres in talks to return as Dory in "Finding Nemo 2'
What would "Finding Nemo 2" be without the forgetful -- but not easily forgotten -- sidekick Dory?
The original film's co-star Ellen DeGeneres is in negotiations to voice the character once again, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
"Drive" co-star Albert Brooks is also returning as Marlon, Nemo's loving father. The original's director, Andrew Stanton, will again call the shots. The Pixar sequel will mark his return to animation, following his somewhat disastrous live-action helming debut "John Carter."
2003's "Finding Nemo" remains Pixar's highest-grossing film, taking in over $867 million worldwide.
DeGeneres continues to star on her eponymous talk show, now entering its tenth season in syndication.
