Lana Del Rey of 'Video Games' fame signs to Interscope
It seems like dozens of artists have covered Lana Del Rey's "Video Games" by now, but only one label can lay claim to the much-hyped singer. Interscope has been formally confirmed as that label, and now it seems Del Rey will finally get around to actually releasing an album.
Billboard Magazine has confirmed that a full-length is to arrive in early 2012; the singer revealed on her Facebook page that her next single will be "Born 2 Die."
Her "Video Games" b/w "Blue Jeans" single just dropped this month, after a summer of living under the Lana Del Rey name instead of her given and former pop guise Lizzy Grant.
"Video Games" has been remixed and covered by artists from Kasabian to Odd Future side project The Internet.
