CBS sets date for 65th Primetime Emmy Awards
CBS has announced the date for the 2013 Emmy Awards and it's exactly the date you probably would have predicted if you know anything about fall scheduling.
The network announced this week that it will air the 65th Primetime Emmy Awards live from the Nokia Theatre on Sunday, September 22. And guess what? That means we can also go out on a limb and informally announced that "2 Broke Girls" and the rest of CBS' hypothetical Monday lineup will premiere on Monday, September 23, which would be the launch date for the Nielsen fall season.
The second part is unofficial, obviously.
CBS will announce a host -- Think Neil Patrick Harris or Craig Ferguson or something -- at a later date.
Nominations for the Emmys will be unveiled at an ungodly hour on Thursday, July 18.
