'Looper' Blu-ray will include 22 deleted scenes
Fans who will be buying the mind bending time travel movie "Looper" on Blu-ray and DVD later this month will be treated to yet another alternate reality in the film's universe -- one made up of nearly two dozen deleted scenes.
The film stars Bruce Willis, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Noah Segan and Emily Blunt and was directed by Rian Johnson. The discs will include plenty of bells and whistles, including cast and crew commentary with Gordon Levitt, Blunt and Rian Johnson, and the two featurettes “Looper: From the Beginning,” and “Scoring Looper," which explores the film's music with composer Nathan Johnson
However, the release's most intriguing facet are the 22 deleted scenes. While we don't know how much running time it all adds up to, the cut footage is sure to offer a more in-depth view of the futuristic film. Johnson's commentary on the deleted scenes should illuminate why they were cut.
"Looper" will be available Monday, December 31.
