'Bond 23' gets Berenice Marlohe as a Bond girl and maybe a title
"Bond 23" just wasn't a very catchy title, was it?
Though it hasn't been confirmed, the heavily rumored title for the upcoming James Bond adventure, with Daniel Craig reprising his role as debonair agent 007, is "Skyfall." A far cry from the exoticism of the Ian Fleming-dervied "Casino Royale" and "Quantum of Solace," "Skyfall" sounds more like a straight-to-video thriller from the '90s.
What has been confirmed, according to The Daily Mail, about the new film is the addition of French model-actress Berenice Marlohe to the cast as the latest Bond Girl.
Also joining the cast is Helen McCrory -- Draco’s mom, Narcissa Malfoy, in the "Harry Potter" series. Javier Bardem, Judi Dench, Naomie Harris and Ralph Fiennes are also on board.
Sam Mendes ("American Beauty," "Road to Perdition") is directing the film.
Marlohe has starred in several French TV shows and will soon appear in "Un bonheur n'arrive jamais seul," opposite former Bond girl Sophie Marceau ("The World is Not Enough").
Good luck, 007.
