After the success of having a non-comedian host the Oscars this past year, a number of candidates are actively campaigning to step into Hugh Jackman's shoes.  The latest?  Kevin Spacey. 

The always reputable Contact Music says Spacey would "love" to host and quotes him as saying "we can start a campaign on Twitter right now."

Note to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences:  Your ratings went up partially because you brought in a popular actor like Jackman to shake this up.  That's not Spacey.  Better candidates?  Will Smith, Jennifer Aniston, Robert Downey, Jr. or George Clooney. Sure, they've all turned it down numerous times, but after Jackman's triumph, they might change their tune.
