Jerry Lewis returns to the big screen
In his first movie role in over a decade, Jerry Lewis is set to star in the new indie "Max Rose." Directed by Daniel Noah, Variety reports the drama will find the icon playing "a widower who revisits key moments in his life to unlock the mysteries of his marriage and family " (whatever that means).
The last time Lewis toplined a feature was 1983's Martin Scorsese classic "The King of Comedy." He appeared in supporting roles in "1994's "Arizona Dream" and 1995's "Funny Bones."
Production is expected to begin this fall in Los Angeles.
