There is no 'Silence of the Lambs' sequel

There is no 'Silence of the Lambs' sequel

Is something wacky going on with Google News?  Yesterday, people were tweeting like crazy that the California Supreme Court had overturned the gay marriage ban with a 4-3 ruling.  Unfortunately, that was a story from a year ago on the exact same date, before the now infamous proposition 8 campaign began and eventually passed (to be clear the court has not ruled on the validity of the current statue yet).

At the same time, an old New York Post story also popped up in Google News claiming that Anthony Hopkins had signed on for a "Silence of the Lambs" sequel.  That was hardly the case.  As Universal Pictures told Moviehole, this was a case of "the old pre-'Hannibal' story getting another-run again. There's no new movie."

And after, "Hannibal Rising," is anyone surprised?  Lesson learned? Google needs to get some editorial hands into it's news feed.
