USA orders a second 'Suits' season
USA has renewed the legal drama "Suits" for a second season.
The renewal is for 16 episodes, with "Suits" heading towards its first season finale on Thursday, September 8. Thus far, "Suits" has averaged 2.93 million 6.34 million viewers per week, including 2.8 million in the key 18-49 demographic.
"'Suits' exceeded our expectations on every level with its sharp writing, engaging ensemble cast and incredible production values," stated Jeff Wachtel and Chris McCumber, USA's co-presidents. "Quickly embraced by our viewers, critics and the industry as a series that pushes the envelope of the USA brand, we needed no further evidence to greenlight a second season."
