Jennifer Love Hewitt's 'Client List' becomes a Lifetime series
Lifetime has ordered a 10-episode drama series based around the hit 2010 telefilm "The Client List."
Jennifer Love Hewitt will executive produce the series version of "The Client List," which will premiere in 2012 and will feature the star reprising her Golden Globe nominated role as a Texas housewife who turns to classy, Lifetime-style prostitution to help keep her family afloat and ends up co-running the brothel.
"Beloved by viewers, Jennifer Love Hewitt is an amazing talent on and off the screen and we are very excited about continuing our relationship with her on 'The Client List,'" stated Lifetime Networks President Nancy Dubuc. "This project falls in line with our strategy to expand Lifetime’s slate with unapologetic programming that will surprise audiences."
Joining Hewitt as executive producers on "The Client List" are Dannielle Thomas, Howard Braunstein, Michael Jaffe, AJ Rinella and Jordan Budde.
"The Client List" drew 3.9 million viewers when it premiered on Lifetime in July 2010.
