'Thor 2' release date moved back
Looks like all the True Believers out there will have to wait a few extra months to see "Thor 2."
The Marvel sequel has been moved back from July 16, 2013 to November 15, 2013, just two weeks before the Thanksgiving holiday. Notably, this is the first Marvel Studios production to not open in summertime, which will gauge the popularity of the classic comic book character, played by Chris Hemsworth in the films.
The sequel has "Monster" director Patty Jenkins (who also helmed the pilot for "The Killing") stepping in for Kenneth Branagh. Don Payne, who co-wrote the first installment, will return as screenwriter.
Before "Thor 2" opens, however, you can catch the Asgardian god as part of the superhero team "The Avengers," which is due in theaters on May 4. It also stars Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Chris Evans and Samuel L. Jackson. Tom Hiddleston is also reprising his "Thor" role as Loki. But will he appear in "Thor 2"??

Also, count me a bit dubious about Fred Durst as a comedy-springboard or The Goo Goo Dolls(?!!!) as the new musical face (and Hank Williams Jr. replacement) of the NFL. Although, between the two, I give Durst the better chance of being good (I mean, who knows, Ronald Reagan went from actor to two-term President) and The Goo Goo Dolls the better chance of making it (the NFL seems kind of clueless about how to plan for what the average football fan will actually want to see for their musical numbers but throwing it out there anyway).
