Science Channel will air 'Firefly'
For a quickly cancelled series, "Firefly" just refuses to die.
Joss Whedon's beloved space-Western will air on Science Channel, beginning on Sunday, March 6 at 8 p.m. Subsequent episodes will air on Sunday nights at 10 p.m. (preceded by the previous week's episode at 9 p.m.).
In addition, Science Channel favorite Dr. Michio Kaku will comment on the science of each episode, delving into the science fact behind in-show elements like terraforming and anti-matter.
"Firefly" starred Nathan Fillion, Gina Torres, Alan Tudyk, Adam Baldwin, Sean Maher, Summer Glau, Morena Baccarin, Jewel Staite and Ron Glass. After its short run on FOX, it also led to a Whedon-directed feature film, "Serenity."
