Arcade Fire drummer Jeremy Gara says that his band is on no timeline for a new effort, and has some idea of what a timeline looks like if they did.

The Montreal-based band is working “pretty much full time” in their studio, he told Ottawa radio station CKCU (via Arcade Fire Tube). “We’re under no pressure to do anything under any sort of schedule.”

“We’re under no pressure to do anything under any sort of schedule," Gara said, but the “goal is to work through Christmas, get something finished in the Spring.

If he was eying a time for the follow-up to 2010's "The Suburbs," it'd be "later next year if I can ballpark.”
