Is the world ready for a 'Casablanca' sequel?

Play it again...again.

Through the decades there have been several attempts to launch an official sequel to 1942's beloved "Casablanca" to see what happened to Rick (Humphrey Bogart) and Ilsa (Ingrid Bergman), but none ever came close to making it to the big screen.

Now producer Cass Warner, granddaughter of Warner Bros. co-founder Harry Warner, is trying to get the studio to finally make a sequel based on a treatment first written in 1982 by Howard Koch (one of the original film's three Oscar-winning co-writers) according to the New York Post. Although WB allegedly passed on the idea, Cass Warner claims that the studio will consider moving forward if she can attract the right director.

The treatment centers on Rick and Ilsa's 20-something son Richard who searches the Middle East of the 1960s for his estranged father.

What do you think of the possibility of a "Casablanca" sequel?
