Metal group Baroness' bus crashes off cliff: 3 of 4 members still hospitalized
A bus carrying the members and supporting crew of metal band Baroness fell 30 feet from a viaduct in England this week, sending all nine travelers to the hospital.
The bus crash occurred near Bath as the band was touring in the U.K. Guitarist/vocalist John Baizley broke his left arm and drummer Allen Blickle and bassist Matt Maggioni suffered fractured vertebrae. Guitarist/vocalist Pete Adams "has been treated and released from the hospital," read a press release on Thursday. "Three of the five crew members who were on the bus have also been treated and released. One member is still undergoing testing. The driver of the bus remains in critical condition."
Two of the nine people in the bus -- including the bus driver -- needed to be rescued with hydraulic equipment, as they were trapped inside the vehicle at the time of the accident.
"Thank you for all the support during this extremely difficult time," the release continued.
